Our Story
OverKlocked Gaming is the largest gaming center in Edmonton and Alberta, with over 60 Gaming systems.
We Opened in the Summer of 2011 when StarCraft 2 was the newest game on the block! We've grown a lot over the years, seen 7 generations of Computer hardware come in and out our doors, and watched gaming change drastically with the advent of Twitch, the LCS and a renaissance of great new Indie games.
We're here to provide the best gaming experience you can get, by keeping our computers up to date, getting the latest games and adding new features and improving our systems to give you the best gaming experience possible.
Local Area Network
What Is A LAN?
LAN stands for Local Area Network. It means that you receive near instantaneous response times, as low as 5ms in some games. It also means that you are playing against people who are only a few feet away. Whether you want to team up with your friends to take down that final raid boss or finally prove who’s the better mid laner. There’s no better feeling than playing with people you can see.
